Natural hazards

Floods, volcanic activity, earthquakes and other natural hazards threaten our communities and economy. The community needs to understand the risks from these hazards and be ready for any event so that damage is minimised.

The indicators below tell us about the risks and damage from natural hazards in the Waikato region, and preventative actions taken to avoid them.
