The Regional Pest Management Strategy (RPMS) 2008 to 2013 details which plants and animals are declared pests in the Waikato region. It explains why they are pests, and outlines how each pest will be managed over a five year period. The RPMS Annual Report 2008/09 reports progress made in implementing the strategy in the 2008/09 financial year.
