Coasts and Us is our latest resource unit for levels 2-4. It covers the interaction of people with our fragile coastal environments, and develops understanding of the plants and animals that live there.
Go to the beach for the day and use the role play and games suggested in the unit to explore these ideas. Remember when you visit the beach to follow the Dune Care Code.
The unit includes a photo pack and video 'Life’s a Beach' produced by Environment Bay of Plenty.
