Biosecurity animal pest staff and contractors
Waikato Regional Council contracts one Biosecurity Animal Pest Contractor for the Hauraki-Coromandel area. All other calls made to 0800 BIOSECURITY are directed through to Waikato Regional Council’s Hamilton based animal pest staff, providing:
- practical advice for controlling animal pests
- assisting with small- scale community initiated schemes to control possums, magpies, rats and mustelid
- advice for people about their animal welfare obligations.
